Every day is an adventure at Universeum. This large building in the centre of Gothenburg houses a huge collection of animals, natural objects, technology and loads of experiments. Meet monkeys and sloths in the steaming rain forest, walk among sharks and rays and wander through the Swedish wilderness - all in the same day! Universeum serves carefully prepared food and beverages.The ambition is to serve meals made from organic or local produce. In addition, all coffee is organic and fair trade.

This museum is one of the best attractions in Gothenburg. It is a must-go place if you are travelling with children. My son loved and enjoyed every part of it - the giant aquarium in the ocean zone, t Universeum is a public science centre and museum in Gothenburg, Sweden that opened in 2001. It is a part of Evenemangsstråket, the thoroughfare of events – close to Korsvägen and Skånegatan – which includes sights of interest like Scandinavium, Ullevi, Svenska Mässan (Swedish Exhibition Centre), Liseberg and the Museum of World Culture. Universeum is a great way to spend a couple hours in Göteborg.
