The purpose of this book is to explain Quantum Bayesianism ('QBism') to "people without easy access to mathematical formulas and equations" (4-5). QBism is an interpretation that takes an agent's actions and experiences as the central concerns of the theory. I was excited to read this new book on QBism by von Baeyer because QBism is the reason I do research in quantum foundations, or, more accurately, Chris Fuchs is. Around the early 2000’s, Chris appeared at almost every conference I went to, preaching the gospel of what was then called Quantum Bayesianism, now QBism Quantum Bayesianism originated as a point of view on states and probabilities in quantum theory developed by C.M. Caves, C.A. Fuchs, and R. Schack (2002).
